FR-4 substrate with dimensions of 10x20x1.5 mm3 and permittivity of 4.3 is used to mount the antenna. We have designed a new antenna that utilizes a slotted patch resonator, a tri-sectional SIR feeder, and a ground plane that is reduced on an FR4 substrate. It turns out the antenna's frequency range of 3.96 – 9.2 GHz, according to the S11 results. CST Microwave Studio 3D EM simulation and analysis software was used to design the antenna. It can be used for UWB and other radio communication systems.
