However, the rise in the number of devices in these networks has led to difficulty managing, monitoring, and maintaining such networks. Therefore, IT firms have started to resort to solutions that make managing traditional networks much more effortless and friendlier. The automation of traditional networks is perceived to be an optimal solution to this problem to manage better and handle these networks. The automation process is demonstrated to make those networks more efficient with a minimum level of cost and personnel. In this thesis, several problems faced by network engineers have been discussed, and solutions have also been put forward. In addition to developing an automation platform called Automation Scripts Code ASC, this platform generates several scripts that automate traditional networks. Python has been used as a programming language. It is worth noting that the time taken to send the configuration to the traditional network devices has been taken into consideration. The configuration process took only 6 seconds to send the configuration to 36 Cisco devices. In light of this fact, this process is demonstrated to be the most satisfactory result obtained compared to previous work.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessNetwork AutomationTraditional NetworksPython scriptingComputer NetworksDesign and implementation of an automation platform for large-scale traditional networks automationMaster Thesis789225
