Öğe An erbium-doped EDFA amplifier pump with a 1550-Nm pumped erbium-doped fibre(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Dheyab, Abdullah; Kshash, Abdullah Dawood; Al-Sabti, Saif Mohamed Baraa; Abdulateef, Alaa Amjed; Abdulateef, Ihsan Amjad; Elwiya, LinaTo take full use of the large bandwidth given by fibre optics and the flexibility afforded by wireless broadcasting on a widespread scale, RoF-based optical-wireless networks are widely regarded as the most important approach for improving capability, coverage, bandwidth, and mobility. WDM-RoF-PON architectures are described and demonstrated in this document. In order to verify the viability of the associated designs, a number of approaches including injection locking, direct/external modulation, re-modulation, and homodyne detection were used. The goal of this study is to create a WDM-RoF-PON using a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) to transmit 2.5 Gb/s baseband (BB) and 1.25 Gb/s wireless signalling downlink and 1 Gb/s (BB) signal in uplink over a 25 km single mode fibre (SMF) and wireless downlink signal over a 25 km SMF and 5.2 m free-spread fibre (FSF) link. This research also aims Downlink wired and remote communications may be successfully sent using both the confused light infusion plan and the twofold sideband optical transporter concealment (DSBCS) approach. In order to reuse the downlink carrier for uplink transmission, RSOA is employed.Öğe Energy consumption estimation using machine learning with data from smart meters in a residential complex building in Iraq(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Al-Shawwaf, Noor Malik Safaa; Ibrahim, Abdullahi Abdu; Al-Sabti, Saif Mohamed BaraaDemand for energy production, energy conservation techniques, and now a significant international problem due to the exponential expansion in population and their total dependency on the use of electrical and electronic equipment. The construction industry is a significant user of energy, hence. This research paper aims to determine the energy usage of a residential complex building in Iraq by using machine learning strategies to the data collected by smart meters in that building. The critical focus is producing accurate projections of future loads in the residential complex over two or three years to surpass any potential artificial intelligence barriers. Data gathering, pre-processing, algorithm selection, model training, model assessment, and energy consumption estimation are the steps involved in the technique. The dataset has been corrected, and the three algorithms used are linear regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, bagging regressor, extra trees regressor,SVR, lasso, ridge, elastic net, K-nearest neighbours and neural network. The protection of users' privacy and the safety of their data are among the ethical issues. An accurate calculation of the energy consumed is required to manage energy and reduce costs effectively. The findings of this study can be used to address the problem of inefficient management of energy resources in residential structures in Iraq and other countries with comparable conditions.Öğe High-frequency waves of the fifth generation and their effects on the head and their consequences for new perspectives(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Al-Sabti, Saif Mohamed Baraa; Mohammed, Alaa Hamid; Mustafa, Ali; Saadi, Abdulrahman Maadh; Abdulateef, Aqeel Nafea; Atilla, Doğu ÇağdasThis research focuses on the efficacy of electromagnetic field RF at high frequency 27.74 GHz on the human head, which includes modelling 5G communication networks to compute the SAR value via the head human layers' tissues and which layers the SAR is attained. Locating the source of the reflected power or electromagnetic signal. Most of the available power from the source is reflected under these conditions. The head serves as a parasitic element, and as a result, the reflected light has a radiation pattern that is 180 degrees out of phase with the original light. In the long run, it leads to being able to steer the reflected pattern. The radiation pattern of reflected power becomes similar to the head geometry. From this point on, estimating power density on the scalp will be less of a hassle. Energy may be collected by harvesting from two sources: reflected energy and sustainable energy.Öğe Wireless body region networks abnormality identification and energy saving a study(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2020) Al-Sabti, Saif Mohamed Baraa; Abdulateef, Alaa Amjed; Atilla, Çağdaş; Mohammed, Alaa HamidCurrent advances in wireless body networking technologies help to escape any of the healthcare industry-related problems. Wearable biomedical devices and their related innovations are in vogue lately, with constant health surveillance being mandatory for many chronic patients. Energy conservation is critical in wireless body area networks (WBANs) since the sensor nodes are energy constraint devices. Energy conservation through data reduction approaches in WBANs is a comparatively less explored area in which the detection of probabilistic anomaly models is becoming inevitable for the prevention of serious health problems. This paper reviews wireless body area networks for anomaly detection in various applications and discusses how models can be made for the energy conservation of WBAN devices. © 2020 IEEE.
