Öğe Implementation of cisco packet tracer in advance computer network(Altınbaş Üniversitesi, 2018) Kurnaz, Sefer; Abdulkareem, Mohanad Mohammed; Yaseen, Shadha AdnanIn the process learning computer network systems, the use of virtual laboratories is very important. In this study, we also implemented Cisco Packet Tracer, which enables us to work on test scenarios without using any physical components virtually to design an advanced computer network. The Cisco Packet Tracer is used not only to simulate computer networks but also to learn computer networks. In this study, we briefly introduced the Cisco Packet Tracer, the aim, the importance, the assumptions, and the limitations of the study is explained. In addition, a program system was created for an exam by used Microsoft visual studio 2017(Visual basic.net) and SQL server 2016 data base that measures the capacity and potential of the participants about the computer network and their information about the Cisco Packet Tracer. Also, the map and rules of the computer network structure were determined to design a computer network in a 6-storey hotel. In the framework of the specified network map, the configurations have been made completely and the advanced computer network has been established using the Cisco Packet tracer. Finally, five scenarios were implemented on the network in order to prove the network in the hotel is working well.Öğe Matrix based graph coloring algorithm for LTE-PCI assignment and reassignment reduction(Ieee, 2017) Abdulkareem, Mohanad Mohammed; Yaseen, Shadha Adnan; Abdullah, Labeeb Mohsin; Yaseen, Shadha AdnanPhysical Cell Identity (PCI) has an essential role in the operation of the Long-Term Evolution network (LTE/LTE-A), and is specifically used to identify cells in the network. An improper PCI assignment might lead to cell conflict with undesirable consequences. To solve the aforementioned PCI's challenges, this paper presents a new graph-coloring algorithm called the Matrix Based algorithm that provides optimized solutions for PCI problems. To evaluate the algorithm's robustness, its performance has compared to another graph-coloring algorithm namely, DASTUR in terms of PCI reassignment and re-configuration. The result shows the superiority of the Matrix Based algorithm compared to DASTUR.
