dc.description.abstract | Recently, there has been a great deal of progress in the realm of communication. As a result, data privacy and security are now prerequisites for any kind of electronic exchange. The proliferation of Internet-based science and technology has led to widespread adoption of digital data in the form of text, audio, video, and image files. Over the network of computers and similar devices, enormous amounts of data are transferred. Despite this, it is possible for an unauthorized user to intercept this data because the security is inadequate. Protecting the privacy and integrity of transmitted information is, therefore, an urgent necessity. There are a number of Steganographic and Cryptographic techniques and combinations thereof that can be used to meet this requirement. In this thesis, we used LSB image steganography to obtain the stego image, and then used deep learning, in particular convolutional neural networks, to identify the stego. Results demonstrated that the employed models successfully detected stego images with a perfect success rate. | en_US |
