Öğe A novel design reconfigurable antenna based on the metamaterial for wearable applications(Journal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021) Al-Gburi, Mohaimen; İlyas, MuhammadA novel design of wearable antenna depending on metamaterials inspired-fractal Minkowski-shaped for industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) applications is presented. The antenna consists of a conventional monopole and a Chebyshev transformer coupled with a unit cell of a fractal Minkowski curve to obtain three bands covering the ISM and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications. To enhance the antenna performance, the authors proposed the Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) layer of 3×4 array is introduced into the design structure. The authors used material FR4 dielectric as a substrate to design the antenna with dimensions of 51mm x 45mm x 1.6mm and fed by a 50 Ω port. The Antenna performance is analyzed numerically using CST Microwave Studio (CSTMWS) depending the Finite Integral Technique (FIT). Various investigation analyses have carried out to verify optimum antenna performance. The proposed antenna realizes reconfiguration by using the PIN diode. In both cases (switching= ON, OFF) the antenna achieves good bandwidth, |S11|<-10dB, and excellent impedance matching.Öğe Computer vision and image processing the challenges and opportunities for new technologies approach: A paper review(Journal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021) Hussien, Reem M.; Al-Jubouri, Karrar Q.; Al-Gburi, Mohaimen; Qahtan, Al Gburi Hussein; Jaafar, Al Hamami DuaaDigital image processing has numerous applications in many sectors of the world. It expands from initial information registration into methods and thoughts combining pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning. The wide utilization has pulled in many researchers to integrate with a range of related specializations. This work gives a study of the latest development and theoretical ideas clarifying an improvement of computer vision particularly with pattern recognition and image processing, utilizing various regions of their field implementation. Digital image processing causes researchers to analyze images to get important data and comprehend information. It utilized a technique of multi-range implementation and huge information analysis. This work aims to focus on the latest studies related to image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision. In this paper, Computer vision standard has been categorized into groups. For example, pattern recognition, image processing, and AI. Additionally, we give a short clarification of the forward-thinking data about the methods and their realization. This survey is restricted to computer vision, and more research can include detecting the conduct and properties of the object including people actions.Öğe Simulation behavior of the joint shear manners of flat concrete slab with holes(Altınbaş Üniversitesi / Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, 2023) Al-Gburi, Mohaimen; Naimi, SepantaThis study aims to analyze the essential effects of creating apertures and holes (necessary for electrical and mechanical installations) on the mechanical behavior of flat slabs under extreme loading. Simulations and numerical analysis with the ABAQUS program were used to accomplish the research objective. In addition, a comparison study (including nine cases) was adopted and used to investigate the impact of openings on the usability and effectiveness of flat slabs. The size of the damaged zone, the highest load, the greatest displacement and deflection were noted. Also, the impact of the opening size on these factors was investigated. According to the findings, instances C1, C2, and C3 all exhibit maximum displacement values that fall between 32.7 mm and 31.6 mm. Moreover, the maximum stress (failure load) in cases C2 (5050 cm) and C3 (100100 cm) was 186.5 kN and 45%, respectively, less than in instance C1. For C2 and C3, the damaged zone area rose by (47% and 144%), respectively. Because the perimeter shrinks, it is obvious that as opening sizes grow, punching shear resistance reduces. In examples one through nine, corresponding to varying amounts of displacement, various values of loads were also recorded. In these cases, the load rises as the displacement rises. Besides, it was found that the employment of CFRP material in slabs contributed to significant enhancement in their workability and performance. Finally, using CFRP in slabs helped increase their resistance to failure and potential to avoid cracks and damage under critical and considerable values of vertical loads.
