Özet

This study aims to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) while reducing noise by employing wave decomposition and threshold processing to detect better radar targets. Because of the characteristics of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) regarding energy concentration of signals, it became of interest to utilize it since it possesses the vital energy concentration of retrieved radar echo signals from targets since such signals are very general weak and accompanied by noise. Furthermore, the punctual time of radar signal pulse transmission is very short of ensuring signal security.
